Riding Profile
Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry is bisected by Highway 401, conveniently connecting the riding to the rest of Canada. The Seaway International Bridge is located within Cornwall and connects the city to the State of New York and the rest of the United States. The riding is also approximately a one hour drive from Ottawa and Montreal, four hours away from Toronto and shares a border with the Province of Québec. The service sector, manufacturing and agriculture are important to the economy of the area.
