Lauzon announces 2010 Conservative Summer Caucus Retreat

OTTAWA – The 2010 Annual Conservative Summer Caucus retreat will be held in Ottawa on Thursday, August 5th.  The announcement was made today by the National Conservative Caucus Chair, Guy Lauzon.

“I am pleased to announce the date and location of the summer caucus retreat” said MP Lauzon. “Conservative MP’s and Senators will meet to discuss ways to create jobs and economic growth, make our streets and communities safer and support Canadian families.”

The National Caucus provides Conservative Parliamentarians the opportunity to share the concerns of their constituents and what they would like to see accomplished in the next session of Parliament.

“Canada has had a very successful year with the Vancouver Olympics, the G-8 and G-20 summits, and the visit of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth.” continued MP Lauzon.  “Members and Senators will have an opportunity to discuss ways to build on Canada’s success so far this year.”
