Lauzon welcomes Environment Minister Prentice to Williamstown Fair

CORNWALL
- Stormont, Dundas & South Glengarry M.P. Guy Lauzon was pleased to welcome the Hon. Jim Prentice, Minister of the Environment to the official opening of the Williamstown Fair this past Saturday, August 8.

“I was so happy to welcome Minister Prentice to the Official Opening of Canada’s Oldest Fair,” stated Lauzon. “The Williamstown Fair is celebrating its 198th Anniversary this year and it was great to have Jim here to celebrate its continued success.”

Minister Prentice returned to his family roots in the area, his ancestors the Urquhart’s were residents of South Glengarry. The official opening of the fair will took place at 1:00pm on Saturday August 8th at Centre Stage at the Williamstown Fairgrounds.
